Sauna & Red Light

Along with cold plunge we have a small 2 seat Traditional Sauna & a Red Light Panel.

Red Light is included with the cold plunge. The Sauna is an additional $20 but comes with the unlimited membership.

Benefits of Red Light Therapy

RLT works by exposing your skin to 7 wavelengths of red light. This light penetrates the skin to varying depths hitting muscles, tissues, and even bones.

When red light shines through the body, it interacts with the mitochondria. Much like the photosynthesis process in plants, these structures soak up light and convert its energy into cellular fuel. This increases production of Adenosine Triphosphate (ATP). Which means there’s more energy within each cell. A cell with high energy is better able to perform its specialized functions, repair itself, and replicate.

This process stimulates collagen production, improves blood circulation, and reduces inflammation, causing a ripple effect that enhances overall health and contributes to faster healing.

Some research even hints at benefits for brain health, like improved mood or cognitive function, possibly by reducing oxidative stress.

Benefits of Traditional Sauna

We have a small hot rock sauna that gets up to 190 degrees. We ask you call us 1 hour ahead so we can get it hot for you. A hot sauna can offer a range of physical & mental benefits. Here’s a rundown of the key advantages:

Physically, saunas promote relaxation by easing muscle tension and improving blood circulation. The heat causes your blood vessels to dilate, which can lower blood pressure temporarily & deliver more oxygen to your muscles and organs. This can help with recovery after exercise, reducing soreness.

Studies suggest it may even support cardiovascular health—regular sauna use has been linked to a reduced risk of heart disease in some populations.

Mentally, the heat can be a stress-buster. It triggers the release of endorphins, those feel-good chemicals, and forces you to unplug for a bit, which can calm your mind. Some people find it improves sleep.

Hydration is critical since you’re losing water fast, & overdoing it can lead to heat exhaustion or worse, especially if you’ve got health issues like low blood pressure or heart conditions. Most folks can handle 15-20 minutes at 150-185°F (65-85°C), but listen to your body.
